Victoria is an illustrator living and working in Devon. She is originally from Yorkshire and her earliest memories and love of nature inspire her illustrations. Her work is a mix of drawing, collage, printing and bleaching, put together digitally.

Last year she was pleased to win an award from ‘Voices of Future Generations’ Children’s Book Series and she has recently begun illustrating a column in Exeter Living Magazine.

At the moment she is working on a children’s book commissioned by RAMM. The story is called ‘Alfie’s Night Out’ and is about the adventures of a sparrow when the museum comes alive. Her original illustrations and sketchbooks will be displayed in an exhibition about Alfie and his friends, for the museum’s 150th anniversary, from 20th April until 2 September.

Victoria Byron is a member of Exeter Illustrators – a group of working and professional artists, based in Exeter. You name it, they’ve scribbled it!
