Paul is a graphic designer and illustrator living in Exeter with his wife and young daughter.
Since gaining a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration at Liverpool John Moores University in 1993, Paul’s graphic design career has taken him through various roles, acquiring a wealth of experience in both print and digital publication along the way.
He has illustrated a variety of published children’s books including Ten Tiny Terrapins (Methuen, 1994), Bedtime Little Monsters (Little Tiger Press, 2002), Loo in the Zoo (Scholastic, 2015) and most recently, Robo-Snot (Scholastic, 2016) – an icky, sticky and nose-picky adventure about ‘SNOT’. His quirky illustrations combine expressive line, vibrant colour and textual elements, making his irrepressible characters bounce off the page with humour and style. His understanding of layout and graphics proves an added advantage in creating exciting compositions.
An acoustic guitar playing music lover, Paul is an avid collector of vinyl and a fan of album cover art.
