My work has evolved from a great passion of exploring light, colour and texture. With Impressionism and the natural world as a constant inspiration, I create richly textured oil paintings using only a palette knife, enabling me to recreate the many textures found within a landscape. It is important in my work for the viewer to feel embraced by the scene, and for just a moment they can stand by my side, drinking in the view.

I spent my formative years growing up on a Cornish farm, followed by studying at the prestigious Falmouth College of Arts, (now Falmouth University.) After graduation I moved to London and exhibited widely across the city.

Having returned home to Cornwall, my paintings have flourished, with a renewed passion and energy.
